Change x and y and solve for y
x = 58y + 24
-24+x=58y +24-24
-24+x=58y
(x-24)/58=58/58y
(x-24)/58=y
y=(x-24)/58 (just switched around with y in front)

b)
Y=(x-24)/58
Y=(227-24)/58 (replaced x with 227)
Y=(203)/58=3.5
