Explanation: Conurbation is an enlarged urban area, consisting of several towns that connect with the suburbs of one large urban city. The condition for such mergers and expansion is the growth of the population and the physical expansion of urban spaces as its consequence. Thus these new urban areas are merged into the form of one continuous urban and industrial developed area.
