Answer:

Alcohol Dehydrogenase

Explanation:

Alcohol consumed orally is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. About 90 to 98% of alcohol ingested is oxidized to acetaldehyde. This oxidation occurs on two levels:

a) At the gastrointestinal level, where alcohol is oxidized by the enzyme alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) in acetaldehyde. This enzyme, in addition to catalyzing the oxidation of ethanol, also catalyzes the oxidation of other alcohols.

b) At the hepatic level, where the main metabolism occurs, and alcohol is transformed into acetaldehyde mainly by the action of ADH, but also by the action of the microsomal oxidative system of alcohol, whose enzymes are activated to higher alcohol levels.

How will Chloe determine if she was potentially exposed to a communicable disease?
Radda [10]

To determine if a person is potentially exposed to a communicable disease, one should be familiar with the case of the patient. By then she can determine how the disease will be transmitted by knowing the portal of entry of the infectious agent and its mode of transmission from reservoir to a susceptible host by direct or indirect contact.

Moreover, a health professional must be immunized against infectious disease to lessen the chance of susceptibility of communicable diseases.

Vikki [24]
Carrots. For garnishing and presentation purposes, carrots and the brilliant colors of Swiss chard ribs are similar in color, texture and crispiness. On the other hand, if you are looking for a similar taste, celery can be a substitute for the ribs of Swiss Chard. It is mild in flavor and works great as a replacement.
