Two pros: Students leaving school for lunch provides them with greater access to better lunch that they like and more options.

Students leaving school for lunch would be the one opportunity they are given to have freedom apart from the school for 30 minutes to an hour.

In summary of the pros Students should be able to leave school for lunch so they can choose the lunch that is best for their interest instead of having to make a forced decision for school lunch. Also students will return to school more optimistic and interested in learning.

Two cons: Many students may not return to school after lunch or may abuse their lunch time.

Leaving school for lunch will not work out because students will all need transportation and the permission or cooperation of parents (which many will not care much about their child eating school lunch)

In summary of the cons arguments students should not leave school for lunch because their would be too many factors to consider and that would decrease time that should be focused on learning during school hours.

What do the verbs fit, set, and read have in common ?
lutik1710 [3]
What the verbs fit, set, and read have in common is that they keep the same form no matter what tense is used.
You can say - I read a book every day. Or Those pants fit you nicely. Or I set the table often.
And if you want to say all that in the past tense, it would look the same:
I read a book yesterday. Those pants fit him nicely a long time ago. I set the table two days ago.

what does the allusion It was such an obvious lie, I was surprised his nose didn't start growing. mean
Amiraneli [1.4K]
This is making a comparison to Pinocchio. Saying it was such an obvious lie I’m surprised his nose didn’t start growing is an exaggeration of how unbelievable and far-fetched his lie fib was.
