Roman emperors managed a vast empire because of their discipline and organization of army.

<u>Explanation:</u>

The “Roman Empire” began with “Augustus” as the only ruler of Rome. Augustus and his successors worked really hard to maintain the image of the Republic.

Roman government allowed the people form different regions to rule themselves and had minimal intervention. They had a superb organization of the army which was immensely disciplined.  

Thus, an efficient government, a strong military and capable rulers were the main reasons Romans were able to manage such a huge empire. Emperors used images of their chosen successors on the coins to promote their family members and political allies.
