The use of the Pacific Ocean for trade and commerce is one big reason to consider Hong Kong and San Francisco as part of the same region. In addition, many current and former residents of Hong Kong feel a special kinship with San Francisco's Chinatown.

Answer:

The following are some of the reasons to consider San Francisco and Hong Kong as part of the same region:

Geography: Located on the West Coast of the United States, San Francisco is a coastal city that leads directly to the Pacific Ocean. Meanwhile, Hong Kong is a coastal city located within the People's Republic of China, that it is also located on the coast that leads to the Pacific Ocean.

Economy: Since both cities are coastal, their economies are mainly based on trade that happens through the waters of the North Pacific Ocean.

Cultural: Although located in different continents and with different predominant cultures, the fact that both cities are connected through the same ocean and are commerce partners have created a big fluctuation of people travelling from one place to the other, making both cultures to interconnect between each other.

During the French Revolution, radicals _____. A. wanted moderate reforms. B. wanted to maintain the French monarchy. C. wanted t
lbvjy [14]

C. wanted to establish a French Republic.

The radicals in France wanted to overthrow the monarchy and establish a republic form of government to mimic that of the United States.

Moderates believed a republic was too far of a leap for a country with the tradition of monarchy. They wanted to create a parliamentary system like Great Britain that would maintain a monarchy and have representation. Conservatives wanted to maintain the monarchy and as a result were often the target of the radical government. Robespierre and the Jacobins launched a government meant to be a republic which turned into a dictatorship filled with bloodshed at the blade of the guillotine.
