The respiratory system is the one that is responsible for breathing. During the breathing process, oxygen is taken into the lungs from the atmosphere and carbon dioxide is exhale out of the system.
The lungs facilitate excretion by excreting carbon dioxide and water vapors via diffusion and exhalation.<span />
