What are the three components of the Formula Triangle?
Sauron [17]

Answer:In basic triangle trigonometry, we look at three trigonometric functions: sine, cosine and tangent (sin, cos and tan) with right triangles.

Trigonometry formulas triangles

Let us start by naming the parts of this triangle.

θ is one of the angles of the right triangle (but not the right angle!)

h is the hypotenuse - the longest side of the right triangle

o is opposite to the angle

a is adjacent to the angle

The three formulas to rememeber can be summed up in one acronym:

where s stands for sine, c for cosine and t for tangent.

What happens to absorb sunlight
Zarrin [17]
The answer I usually get (and I'm paraphrasing here) is that they disappear and are instead absorbed as heat energy.

But I find it hard to believe that the photon simply "disappears." Common sense tells me it must turn into something or other, not just simply poof out of existence; then again, common sense has betrayed me before.

Forgive me if this is obvious; high school physics student here who's just learned about light and is greatly confused by all this.
