strojnjashka [21]

Answer:

The author argues that the United States continues to be one of the top nations for technological innovation, but unless the US government passes new policies, the country could lose its position as a technological and innovation leader. I think the author’s argument is correct. The main problem seems to be that science and math education in the United States is falling behind that of other nations. This issue could create big problems for the United States, especially because so much of society depends on new technologies. So, the country needs to do a better job of teaching students those subjects and encouraging them to pursue a career in the sciences.
