Answer: Growing and selling opium.

Explanation:

The group known as theTaliban emerged in the year of 1994 as part of the Afghan Civil War. It was formed by many students (talib) from southern and eastern Afghanistan from traditional Islamic schools. The ISI and the Pakistani military have given financial, logistical and military support to the Taliban as said by the international community and the Afghan government itself. The way the Taliban achieved their economy was by imposing a 50% tax on any company operating in the country and a 6% import tax on anything brought from other countries. Under the Transit treaty between Afghanistan and Pakistan a network of smuggling happened. By 1996-1999 Mullah Omar made changes to drug dealing. The Taliban controlled 96% of Afghanistan's poppy fields and made opium its largest source of taxation. It is said that it was drug money which funded the weapons and ammunition for their war purposes.

Answer:

Growing and selling opium.

Explanation:

The Taliban agreed to cooperate with the UN in order to reduce the opium production of Afghanistan since 2000. Opium was declared un-Islamic, and production reduced by 99% (in terms of area of opium poppy farming in Taliban-controlled areas). However, the reduction in production benefitted a small group of drug lords. Therefore, due to market manipulation, some government leaders were able to make significant amounts of money thanks to opium production.

Vedmedyk [2.9K]

Answer:

It occurred august 4th, 1735 in the colony of New York. This case is about the government who tried to silence a man because they didn’t like what he was saying. At the time the government was the king and there was no First Amendment. The jury found him not guilty because they saw this for what it was. This is a good example of the colonists believing the government should have limited power, and led directly to the First Amendment 40 years later

hope this helps!✌️

How does the Constitution give the President the right to stop a rebellion? (Think about the role of the Executive Branch)
tamaranim1 [39]
The president is commander in chief and has the power to control the military. This allows him to enact martial law which can be used on our own soil to put down rebellions and threats to our public peace as well as our institution.

Basically my best bet is martial law.
