This is an exercise to practice <u>preterite and imperfect</u> tenses. Preterite tense is used for completed actions (like <em>bailó</em> and <em>escribí</em>) while imperfect tense is used for actions that do not have a definitive end (<em>bailaba</em> and <em>escribía</em>).
