The question asked above is incomplete, the options attached to the question are given below:
A. It is important to trust other people.

B. The side of evil will always overcome the side of good.

C. The honor of a nation often rests upon the actions of its leader.

D. Actions of leaders often don't have the impact the leader intends.

ANSWER

The correct option is C.

From the passage given above, it can be seen that although the king ended up loosing his life, his people did not give the enemy the opportunity to succeed completely. They fought the enemy until they overcame him. They were able to do this because the king instructed them before his death that they should rise up and fight. This shows that the actions and the instruction of the leaders are very important in directing the behavior of their subjects.

The fact that language learning is achieved by typically developing infants across the globe indicates that language is?
Leya [2.2K]

Answer: The first signs of communication occur when an infant learns that a cry will bring food, comfort, and companionship. Newborns also begin to recognize important sounds in their environment, such as the voice of their mother or primary caretaker. As they grow, babies begin to sort out the speech sounds that compose the words of their language. By 6 months of age, most babies recognize the basic sounds of their native language.

Children vary in their development of speech and language skills. However, they follow a natural progression or timetable for mastering the skills of language. A checklist of milestones for the normal development of speech and language skills in children from birth to 5 years of age is included below. These milestones help doctors and other health professionals determine if a child is on track or if he or she may need extra help. Sometimes a delay may be caused by hearing loss, while other times it may be due to a speech or language disorder.

Who taught her such things into passive voice
Hitman42 [59]

Answer:

By whom was she taught such things?

Explanation:

An active voice is when the subject performs the action/ verb whereas a passive voice is where the verb acts upon the subject. And the verbs are changed accordingly.

In the given sentence <em>"Who taught her such things?"</em>, the word "who" is the subject which is changed to "by whom". And since the verb "taught" is the second form and third form of the same verb "teach", there will be no change in it.

Therefore, the final sentence in passive voice will be

<em>By whom was she taught such things?</em>

1. What is the impact of Hester's decision to reveal Chillingworth's identity to Dimmesdale?
goldenfox [79]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

IT is not A because Dimmesdale said that he would kill the person who Hester commited Adultery with.

It is not B because Pearl does not really get happy and she understands that her true father could never know.

It is not C because Dimmesdale simply gets mad and leaves.

It is D because Hester Prynne leaves Dimmesdale and takes Pearl to her little cottage in the woods and accepts her fate. Her and Chillingworth also begin to see eachother, openly, so that definitely changed a lot.

I read this book last year and had all sorts of questions like this.
