In the situation both parents are very concerned about earthquake and volcanoes. They don’t know if they should move to Hawaii o

r California.
Can I get some ideas on where should they move

There are some aspects; both of the areas known as Hawaii and California get earthquakes, and they are both in the Ring of Fire. Hawaii is on a volcanic island chain, which has volcanoes, yet the eruptions are subtle. California, on the other hand, doesn't have volcanoes, yet is prone to more earthquakes than Hawaii. If it was my choice, I would move to Hawaii. Nice weather and people beats out the earthquakes and volcanoes.
