Students in Ms. Winters' class were interested in testing the antibacterial strength of hand soap versus hand sanitizer. The stu

dents planned to wash their hands using the sanitizer or soap and warm water for two minutes, then dry their hands with a paper towel. The standard of comparison would be rubbing their hands vigorously for 2 minutes in warm water, without any soap or sanitizer, and then drying with a paper towel. The sanitizer advertisement claimed to kill bacteria more effectively than any soap. After washing, hands would be swabbed and then the swab applied to a culture plate and incubated. Finally, the bacterial cultures would be counted. What would be an appropriate research question to guide this scientific investigation

Answer: Is hand sanitizer more effective in killing bacteria than hand soap?

Explanation:

The most appropriate question will be questioning the effectiveness of the hand sanitizes versus soap.

The students compared the effectiveness of both the chemicals. The children must use soap and then their hand must be used as an area to get sample for microbes.

Then another group of children will use soap for washing the hand and then use hand as an area to take sample for the microbes.

The plate will show the number of colonies which will decide the effectiveness of the soap or sanitizer.

Explanation:

Spontaneous generation is an obsolete theory or idea that supports the production of living things and substances from non-living substances and things.

What is the function of the cell wall in the onion cell you looked at?
Brilliant_brown [7]
The clear epidermal cells exist in a single layer and do not contain chloroplasts, because the onionfruiting body (bulb) is used for storing energy, not photosynthesis. Each plantcell has a cell wall, cell membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus, and a large vacuole.
