The geographic environment of a poet can influence his / her work through the sensations that that environment passes to the poet.

For example, Through the influence of the rural environment, the poet can write about the tranquility provided by nature and work outdoors. This same environment can influence the author to write about the life suffered and with few opportunities that the society of the rural area faces.

On the other hand, the urban environment can influence the poet to write about the comfort provided by the great urban centers, or can influence him to write about the sadness generated by the solitude, the work and the rushing of the big cities.

What's a good statement for "The boy in the stripped pajamas" Relating to the theme Frendship And Family
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

A good statement on this topic would be "Bruno strives to fulfill his role in the family, but maintains his friendship with Shmuel.

Explanation:

"The boy in the stripped pajamas" was written by John Boyne and portrays the story of Bruno, a German boy who is the son of a high-ranking German general, during World War II. Due to his father's profession, Bruno is forced to move to another city and leave all his friends and memories behind. He hates this change, but understands that it is important for his father's success and for that reason, he strives to adapt to the change and help the family in this time of adjustment.

In this new place, Bruno is faced with the fences of a concentration camp. He doesn't know anything about Nazism, nor about the extermination of Jews, but when he looks at the fence, he notices the presence of a child, very thin and wearing a striped pajamas. This child is Shmuel, a Jewish boy trapped in a concentration camp. Bruno and Shmuel start to be friends, although they can't meet beyond the fence.

One day Bruno's father tells him that he can't keep in touch with the people behind the fence and that they aren't real people. Bruno's father reinforces that it is important for him to stay away from the fences, so as not to cause problems for the family. Bruno is worried that he might cause problems for the family and complies with all the rules imposed on him, except for breaking up his friendship with Shmuel. This attitude of Bruno is the main point of the theme Family and Friendship.

Which statement best shows a problem in Travels with Charley?
yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer:

[S]ince my photograph was as widely distributed as my publisher could make it, I would find it impossible to move about without being recognized.

Explanation:

John Steinbeck's "Travels with Charley" is a travelogue written about the road trip that the author took in 1960 with his poodle Charley. The travel diaries would narrate the author's trips around the United States, a country he's been writing most of his stories about.

The statement that shows a problem is <em>"[S]ince my photograph was as widely distributed as my publisher could make it, I would find it impossible to move about without being recognized."</em> This was because, despite his desire to openly and freely travel the country and see its sights, he can't do that as his photographs had been circulated as much as possible by his publisher. This means that being a famous writer, people are familiar with who he is, and that poses a problem for him to travel freely.

Thus, the correct answer is the second option.
