We know that
the dimensions of the first garden are------> 5 ft x 3 ft
perimeter first garden=2*[5+3]-----> 16 ft

the dimensions of the second garden are---> (5*2) ft x (3*2) ft
10 ft x 6 ft
perimeter second garden=2*[10+6]-----> 32 ft
so

1f 16 ft (perimeter garden 1)-----------------> 100%
then 32 ft (perimeter garden 2)------------> X%
X=32*100/16-------X=200%
[<span>the percent of change in perimeter]=   200%-100%-------> 100%

the answer is
100% </span>

Ok this one is a little bit more tricky since there are more possible answers. But we can do it! So look at the y-intercept. It lands on 25. Now we do "Rise over Run". So we go up 4 and left 1. Since the line is going left, the slope is a negative. And the line is solid instead of dotted so it is , ≤. Your answer would be the first option. I hope this helps love! :)

What is the slope of the line?
goldenfox [79]

\frac{3-2}{2-4} = \frac{1}{-2} = -0.5

slope = \frac{1}{-2} or -0.5

Can someone explain/show me how to do this?Absolute Value Functions
otez555 [7]
Domain: The values that X could take, so domain = (-∞,+∞)

Range: The values that the dependant variable, f(x), could take. Since we can't get negative numbers, it'd be range = [0,+∞)

X and Y intercepts: The points in which you touch the axis. On this case the only one is the point (0,0).

Increasing and decreasing refers to the region where the function increases or decreases. It increases on (0,∞), and decreases on (-∞,0).

Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean with "transformations", at least the way you're written it. If you give me a bit more of info, I'll do my best to help :)
