The first two sentences express the main idea of this paragraph.

Explanation:

The first sentence says <em>"This ship is carrying kala fever serum to Group One on Woden"  </em>and the second one says <em>"Their own supply was destroyed by a tornado". </em>These two sentences show a cause which is in the first sentence; the idea that the ship is carrying kala fever serum to group one and this is going to have a consequence which is in the second sentence and It will affect to group two.
