Answer:

324 cubes.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let n be the number of cubes with edge length 1/12 meter.

We have been given the lengths of edges of a right rectangular prism as \frac{1}{2} meter, \frac{1}{2} meter and \frac{3}{4} meter.

\text{Volume of rectangular prism}=L*B*H, where,

L = Length of prism,

B = Breadth of prism,

H = Height of prism.

\text{Volume of cube}=a^3, where a= length of each edge of the cube.

The volume of n cubes with each edge 1/12 will be equal to the volume of rectangular prism.

\text{Volume of n cubes}=\text{Volume of rectangular prism}

n\times a^3=L*B*H

Upon substituting our given values we will get,

n\times(\frac{1}{12})^3=\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{1}{2}\times \frac{3}{4}

n\times\frac{1^3}{12^3}=\frac{1*1*3}{2*2*4}

n\times\frac{1}{1728}=\frac{3}{16}

Let us multiply both sides of our equation by 1728.

\frac{n}{1728}*1728=\frac{3}{16}*1728

n=\frac{3}{16}*1728

n=3*108

n=324

Therefore, 324 unit cubes can fit inside the given right rectangular prism.

A company purchased equipment and signed a 7-year installment loan at 9% annual interest. The annual payments equal $9,000. The
ANTONII [103]
First, we should apply the present value of annuity formula. It is PV=A \frac{1- \frac{1}{(1+r)^{N}}}{r} and in this formula \frac{1- \frac{1}{(1+r)^{N}}}{r} is the present value of annuity factor.

Then, we can find the present value of the annuity by writing that, PV=9000 * 5.033 = 45297 <span>

Data for the estimated number of HIV cases worldwide between 1988 and 1996 suggests exponential growth in the number of cases ov
Eduardwww [97]

Answer:

d. 52.5 million cases

Step-by-step explanation:

from the data output in the question, we have the regression equation to be

log y = -151.281 + 0.076577x

y is the number of hiv cases which is in millions

x is the year of the hiv case

x = 1998

we put the value of x in the regression equation

log y = -151.281 + 0.076577(1998)

log y = -151.281 + 153.000846

log y  = 1.719846

since the result is in log form,

y=10^{1.791846}

y = 52.5 million cases

How do you take 3 1/2 and 2 + 4 1/2 and turn it to 7/2 (2+9/2)
alexira [117]
3 1/2 in mixed fraction is 7/2

4 1/2 in mixed fraction is 9/2

So we can write 2 of those fraction like multiplication by each other and it’s gonna be 7/2 (2+9/2)
