My doctor also explained that birth control pills "trick the body into thinking it is pregnant." She explained that women do not

normally ovulate when they are pregnant. Can you explain to me why a pregnant woman does not ovulate? How is this related to how the birth control pill works

A pregnant woman does not ovulate, or release eggs during pregnancy, because humans cannot get pregnant while they are already pregnant. This allows "the pill" to work, because if no eggs are released, they cannot be fertilized, and you cannot become pregnant.

The phosphorylation of fructose 6-phosphate to fructose-1,6-bisphosphate is the committed step in glycolysis because.
kati45 [8]

The phosphorylation of fructose 6-phosphate to fructose-1,6-bisphosphate is the committed step in glycolysis because fructose 1,6-bisphosphate can undergo no other reactions than those of glycolysis.

What is phosphorylation?

 • The crucial process of glycolysis involves the breakdown of glucose into two molecules of pyruvate. It involves a number of steps and many enzymes.
 • It takes place over the course of ten phases, demonstrating how important and crucial phosphorylation is to the production of the final goods. Step 1 of the preliminary step (first half of glycolysis) and step 6 of the payout phase reactions are started by phosphorylation (second phase of glycolysis).
 • Because fructose-6-phosphate cannot cross the cell membrane, it is forced to remain inside the cell. Step 3 involves phosphorylation, when fructose-6-phosphate is changed into fructose-1,6-bisphosphate.

Dominik [7]

Food and nutrition are fundamental to military capability. Historical examples demonstrate that a failure to supply adequate nutrition to armies inevitably leads to disaster; however, innovative measures to overcome difficulties in feeding reap benefits, and save lives. In barracks, UK Armed Forces are currently fed according to the relatively new Pay As You Dine policy, which has attracted criticism from some quarters. The recently introduced Multi-Climate Ration has been developed specifically to deal with issues arising from Iraq and the current conflict in Afghanistan.Answer:
