Remnants of old tools, whether they be crude stone or remaining biological matter. The biological matter can be carbon dated, and many of the items have ended up in strata that also define their dates. As to other information, fire construction, cave paintings, and other artifacts can illuminate many items about an early agrarian civilization. Finally, the selective breeding of a plant can determine many what's and why's of a society. Just as one example, the orange was originally a fruit mentioned in Chinese writings before BC became AD. It is a bred species.

How do people benefit from a limited government?
Amanda [17]
Hello! A limited government is where the leaders have limited power. Under a limited government, people are able to have more say in the government and voice their opinions in responsible ways. Gaining a lot of power is unconstitutional by law, and people having a voice in their government can help the government make improvements. The people and leaders go hand in hand when making decisions that could affect them in many ways. People have more freedom and don't have to be controlled by a dictator.
