How would WWII have been different if Britain and France decided not to appease hitler and germany?

The war would not have been as severe and large because Hitler would not have had time to amass a bigger army and use Austrian factories to make massive weapons as he did.

appeasement simply gave Hitler time to arm himself, build his army and weapon base in preparation for alarge scale war. Britain and France fast action would have ensured this does not happen.
