What does the term Organic mean? Based on the definition, what is the difference in the food type? Who determines if the product

is organic? Are there benefits to going all or partially organic in food products? Does the benefit outweigh the cost? What are talking points for patients that inquire about organic products?

Organic means that there were little to no pesticides sprayed on the food. There is not really a difference in the food, or how it taste. the only difference is how much pesticides are sprayed on the food. The FDA regulates the food and passes it as organic. I Honestly do not think that there are any benefits going all organic, you should always wash off your fruits and vegetables no matter what.
