What did fast-food companies such as McDonald's hope to encourage by marketing directly to children?

English

A doesn't make sense since McDonald's is anything but healthy, B also doesn't make sense because kids aren't trying to be "financially independent" usually, and D doesn't make sense either since they never mention corporate values, so I believe that C is the correct answer

Pleasee help me I’m so behind:(
Gnoma [55]
Based on the quote, “I never want to be anything more than I am; what I don’t have, I don’t need,” Mr. Armstrong thinks that we should be grateful for what we have in life. If life gives you something, you deserve what you have and don’t need anything more. I explain the quote this way because he is basically saying that he doesn’t want to be anything better than himself, and he doesn’t need anything more in life than what he already has. I do not agree with his outlook on life because some good people are living in poverty, and they don’t deserve to live that way of life.

I hope this helps you get caught up. I know what it’s like to be behind. :)
