I wish I was anything but eleven. Because I want today to be far away already, far away like a runaway balloon, like a tiny o in the sky, so tiny —tiny you have to close your eyes to see it. " (Cisneros, 1991), we can see how the character is napping in a dilemma with herself, where she did not want to be what she is and even though she is in a moment that should be celebrated, she dreams of being something else, very distant than what it really does.
