a narrow enclosed battlefield leaving no possible way to flank it because the
cliffs surrounding the beach were virtually perpendicular to the ground.
It was an open killing field, there being no cover for the Allies until they

The had concrete bunkers with MG's that can shoot at 700 bpm with mortars while the U.S. also the Germans where on a incline on a huge moutain/hill so the Germans had a big advantage's but they still lose cause they did not wake up hilter from his sleep if they did they would of won of Omaha beach.

Joseph Sintoni was soldier who later died in the Vietnam.  He wrote his letter to his fiancee before he left for Vietnam in January, 1968.  He was killed in action in March, 1968.
