Understanding the theme and  mood of a poem can help add to your comprehension of a poem by helping you uncover the deeper meaning of what the author is trying to depict or portray , the theme helps you understand the authors feelings and thoughts.The mood evokes certain feelings and vibes in readers through words and descriptions. The mood is usually referred to as the atmosphere of the writing piece.
