Which excerpt from Queen Elizabeth’s Address to the Troops at Tilbury shares the common purpose of persuading her audience that

she is willing to do what is best for England?
We have been persuaded by some that are careful of our safety to take heed how we commit our selves to armed multitudes, for fear of treachery.

I am come amongst you, as you see, at this time, not for my recreation and disport, but being resolved in the midst and heat of the battle, to live or die among you all.

I know I have the body but of a weak and feeble woman; but I have the heart and stomach of a king, and of a king of England too.

By your obedience to my general, by your concord in the camp, and your valour in the field, we shall shortly have a famous victory over those enemies of God, of my kingdoms, and of my people.

The correct answer is B. I am come amongst you, as you see, at this time, not for my recreation and disport, but being resolved in the midst and heat of the battle, to live or die among you all.

As you can see in this particular quote, Queen Elizabeth is ready to die along with her troops because she is part of them. She doesn't want to leave them stranded, but rather she wants to show them that she is there to support them through thick and thin. Her audience will then know that she is willing and able to defend them through all dangers that England may be faced with, and that she knows what is best for England. This speech is supposed to persuade her audience to believe her, and she was quite successful.

Write an essay about Causes of happiness.

(Read comments)

Thanks
vladimir1956 [14]

There are many causes of happyieness including sucess, friends and family, and yourself. We're not talking finantial sucess, although that is nice too. We are talking about the sucess of being able to set goals and acheive them. It is this journy that keeps us content. For example, studying for a test and then receiving a grade better than you normally get. This would make one feel acomplished and good about themselves.

Another thing that makes people happy are having loved ones around and there to suppport you. Being with the people you love, and that care about you is what makes us feel good and that your not alone. Even just a warm conversation at the dinner table, or playing a fun board game. Be around people that will bring you up rather than make you feel bad about yourself. People are the ones to make us smile and cheerful which is what makes our heart happy. That is why we strive to throw birthday parties for our friends, and do thing to make our parents proud.

Lastly, and the most important thing to make us happy is yourself. Afterall, happiness comes from within and you are the one and only one who can choose how to feel. You have to accept and love yourself unconditionaly and realize no one's perfect. You just want to be the best person you can be and not always try to please others. Thinking of all the things you have to be grateful for and viewing your life as a glass half full, and not half empty. Do things that will make you happy. Clearly, there are so many things that make us happy from sucess to loving yourself.

Antonyms: Match the word with the word or phrase most nearly its opposite. 18. (5 pt) capricious A. foreign B. rebellious
leva [86]
Capricious means sudden and unaccountable mood changes.

Foreign means not local, so that's not it.
Rebellious means disobedient, so that's not it.
Thoughtful means considerate, and steady. So this is probably it.
Miserable means extremely sad, so that's not it.

The correct answer is C. Thoughtful.
