Answer:

The earth undergoes various types of geological processes that control different conditions on the earth's surface. When these processes are very severe along with human activities, then the organisms and humans have to face a lot of difficulties. Due to the occurrence of heavy flood in any region, the people lose their houses, the agricultural crop fields are affected by losing their fertility. Water is one of the essential elements for the survival of life and it creates havoc when they are contaminated because they become unfit for drinking. So a lot of problems is needed to be faced due to natural calamities like floods, tsunamis, and droughts.

Human beings can meet up the challenges of these impacts by undertaking certain steps-

(1) The waster materials produced from the industries and factories must be collected and dumped somewhere instead of allowing it to get mixed up with the rivers and streams.

(2) The dams must be properly constructed and should be periodically surveyed.

(3) Water must be preserved and make proper and minimum use of it.

(4) Pollution must be reduced as much as possible.

(5) Afforestation must be done so that the plants and trees can hold the soil and maintain its fertility, rather than getting eroded.

Explain why communist systems can evolve into totalitarian states.
bixtya [17]
Totalitarianism is a concept for a form of government or political system that prohibits opposition parties, restricts individual opposition to the state and its claims, and exercises an extremely high degree of control over public and private life. It is regarded as the most extreme and complete form of authoritarianism. In totalitarian states, political power has often been held by autocrats who employ all-encompassing campaigns in which propaganda is broadcast by state-controlled mass media.
