Plot the line x = 4 with a dotted line and shade in the area below the line because x is greater than. If you are in America then shade the other way round btw! Then plot the line y =2x-5 with a solid line and shade in the area above the line. Again America is the other way round. Look at where you haven’t shaded (America again is where you have!) and write down the coordinates that fit with where you haven’t shaded. I haven’t done the graph so I can’t tell you but do the graph and do this.

Another thing is that if the line is solid, you can count coordinates on it, but if it is dotted then you can’t.

If you want me to explain how to draw the lines out then just comment and I will draw it out for you.

Let ABCD be a parallelogram such that AB = 10 , BC = 14, and Angle A = 45. Find the area of the parallelogram. Please do not ans
Semenov [28]

Answer:

70√2  units²

Step-by-step explanation:

(see attached for reference notes on parallelograms)

we are given ABCD is a parallelogram where

Short Length, AB = 10 units

Long Length, BC = 14 units

Angle A = 45°

The area of the parallelogram is hence,

= AB x BC sin 45°

= 10 x 14 x sin 45

= 140 sin 45°    (recall from special angles, that sin 45° = 1/√2)

= 140/√2 (remove radical from denominator by multiplying by √2/√2)

= (140/√2) x (√2/√2)

=70√2  units²

allsm [11]

Answer:

$437.3179611

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the compound interest formula

A = P(1 + \frac{r}{n}) ^nt

substitute numbers

A = 175,000(1 + \frac{.05}{15})^ (.05)(15)

How to solve this system of equations ?

3x = y
y + 7x = 10
earnstyle [38]

Answer:

x = 10, y = 30

Step-by-step explanation:

Since this already has a y-value, which is 3x, we will use substitution.

3x + 7x = 10

10x = 10

x = 10

Now that we know x, we can figure out what y is.

y = 3(10)

y = 30

The length of a rectangle is 6 more than twice its width. The
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

The answer is option (C). The width of the rectangle=6 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Determine the dimensions of the rectangle

width=w

length=w+6

Step 2: Determine the perimeter of the rectangle

P=2(L+W)

where;

P=perimeter

L=length

W=width

In our case;

P=36 inches

L=w+6

w=w

replacing;

2(w+w+6)=36

2(2 w+6)=36

4 w+12=36

4 w=36-12=24

4 w=24

w=24/4=6

W=6 inches

L=6+6=12 inches

The width of the rectangle=6 inches
