An equation of a circle is given by:

(x - h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2

An equation of a line is given by:

y = mx + b

In order to find points of intersections, you will need to do simultaneous equations

Hope this helped a little!

Which equation is a point-slope form of the equation of this line (-2, 1 ) and (1, 7 )
lana [24]

The point-slope formula:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\\\\m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

We have (-2, 1) and (1, 7).

Substitute:

m=\dfrac{7-1}{1-(-2)}=\dfrac{6}{3}=2

y-1=2(x-(-2))\\\\y-1=2(x+2)
