Answer:

The mural was painted by some artist last year.

Explanation:

When it comes to active sentences, you have your subject, your verb, and your direct object. However, when you want to make a passive sentence, you should place the direct object in the initial position (acting as something similar to a subject) to place emphasis on that particular word.

So, in the active sentence, the subject was some artist, the verb was painted, and the object was the mural. In order to make the sentence passive, we place The mural first, and then denote whom the action was made by (in this case, some artist). The tense should be the same in both sentences - past simple in the active sentence, and past simple passive in the passive one.

Ok so basically choose a side on a topic and write reasons and details. If i were you i would choose "Should teens be allowed to play dangerous sports?"

First answer the question. "I believe teens should be allowed to play dangerous sports." or vice versa

then explain why they should or shouldnt by giving facts and some opinions but not all. The facts are going to be your evidence so use words like "research shows, studies show, or things like that. that will also fill out the "reliable source" part

you also have to show some evidence on the other side of the claim. SO if u say that they should, show why they shouldnt

Susan is throwing a Christmas party, but you've forgotten which house is hers! You know that Laura does NOT live directly next t
Salsk061 [2.6K]

Answer:

The suzan house is the last one on the right.

Explanation:

If cheryl and eve are direct neighbors we can understand that the two have houses next to each other. However, the text states that Laura and Susan are not direct neighbors, but Laura lives to the left of Cheryl, so we have a neighborhood formed as follows:

Layra + Cheryl + Eve +?

When we show the neighborhood layout, we can see that Susan's house is the one on the right side of Eve's house and the last house on the right.

What is the selection of particular words to convey tone and voice called? word choice word editing word revising word style.
dusya [7]

The intentional selection and arrangement of a set of words in such a way that it communicates a predetermined tonality and voice is called Word Style. (D)

Word style speaks to how a story or information is conveyed. When words are selected and arranged in a particular way, they can affect the impression that the reader gets.

Skilled writers use this to achieve the full expression of their imagination and to tell the story exactly as they have experienced it or as they intend for the reader to perceive it.

Word Style is also useful for tailoring the same message to suit different audiences. One key principle is consistency. Altering Word Styles within the same document can be very distracting and reduce the veracity of the writ.
