How many fluid ounces are in a pint

There would be only 16 fluid ounces in 1 pint.

We would know this mainly because in 1 fluid ounces, there would only be 0.0625. If we then multiply this by 16, it would give us 1.

Your answer 16.

write an equation in slope-intercept form for the line that is perpendicular to -2x-8y=16 and that passes through (4,5)
mash [69]
Slope of line perpendicular to ax+by=c is b/a

given
-2x-8y=18
slope of perpendicular is -8/-2=4

y=4x+b
find B
(4,5)
x=4,y=5
5=4(5)+b
5=20+b
minus 20
-15=b

Which statement is true about the line represented on the equation y + 7 = -3 (x - 2/9) ?
Zarrin [17]

<u>ANSWER</u>

The point (\frac{2}{9},-7) lies on the straight line y+7=-3(x-\frac{2}{9})

<u>EXPLANATION</u>

The given line is y+7=-3(x-\frac{2}{9}). It can be observed that the given straight line is in the point-slope form.

We can rewrite the equation in the point-slope form to obtain,

y--7=-3(x-\frac{2}{9}).

When we compare this to the general point-slope form, which given by the formula;

y-y_1=m(x-x_1),

We can observe that,

x_1=\frac{2}{9} and y_1=-7.

Hence the point, (x_1,y_1)=(\frac{2}{9},-7) lies on y+7=-3(x-\frac{2}{9})

Calculate the perimeter and area of this shape.<br> Perimeter =
konstantin123 [22]
<h3><u>Answer</u><u>:</u></h3>

Perimeter → 25cm

Area → 25.5cm²

<h3><u>Explanation</u>:</h3>

perimeter =  > 2.5 \times 2 + 5.5 + 3.5 + 6 + 3 + 2 = 5 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 25

area =  > 3 \times  \frac{1}{2}  \times 2 + 3 \times 3.5 + 6 \times 2 = 3 + 12 + 10.5 = 25.5
