Write a paragraph on the topic -“Life's best lessons are learnt from friends."<br> (100-120 words)
Gennadij [26K]

Answer: Do you think Life's best lessons are learnt from friends? I do, let me tell you why. Friends will lift you up when you are down or they can be brutally honest. The best life lesson I have had from friends is that family is not always blood. Sometimes you have to go out in life and find your family , the ones who will always be there, support you, love you, and be honest with you. Friends will offer you needed advice, sometimes we don't want to hear but it's usually good advice. However, you should be careful when you choose your friends, if you surround yourself with untrustworthy, dishonest, sometimes envious friends, it can be really toxic. You'll learn that friends come and go but the ones who stay are the important ones. Life will do it's best to tear people apart but if you can survive life together, you find that you not only have friends you have family.

Which of the following best describes why Montaigne believes it is advantageous that “barbaric” people have no commerce, educati
Andrews [41]

The correct answer is C. He believes it is preferible to live in innocence and simplicity.

Montaigne was one of the Renaissance writers that used the figure of the non-European or the "noble savage" to reflect and criticise the European society from a different perspective.

In his text <em>On Cannibals</em> (1580), Montaigne does not describes "barbaric" people lack of commerce, education or political system in order to assert European superiority. In fact, Montaigne says that it is preferible to live in innocence and simplicity since these natives are separated from concepts of treachery, cruelty and torture. These concepts, however, are familiar to European societies despite their apparent superior education and political systems.
