use formula where lower fence is Q1- 1.5 IQR and upper fence is Q3+1.5 IQR.

7a) Q1 is 30 ,Q2 is 34, Q3 is 40,

IQR is Q3-Q1: 40-30

IQR=10

upper fence is 40+1.5(10)= 55

lower fence is 30-1.5(10) = 15

1. A piece of steel has a volume of 12 cm3<br> and a mass of 96g. What is its density?
Troyanec [42]

Answer:

it's density is 8 g /cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

Mass (m) = 96 g

Volume (v) = 12 cm³

Density (d) =?

We know density is defined as mass per unit volume so

d = m/v

= 96 / 12

= 8 g/cm³

Hope it will help :)

Note : if in the question it is said to write in sI system u have to write in kg/m³.

URGENT!! DESPERATE!! GEOMETRY REFLECTIONS!!! PLEASE INCLUDE EXPLANATION BOGUS ANSWERS WILL BE REPORTED
serious [3.7K]

When we reflect a point across y=x, the x and y coordinates switch out , that is (x,y) becomes (y,x) . SO for point (1,2), on reflection across y=x, (1,2) becomes (2,1) . And when we do reflection across y=-x, (x,y) becomes (-y,-x). Therefore point (2,1) on reflection across y=-x becomes(-1,-2) .

So the final answer is (-1,-2) .

A dealer sold 500 tennis racquets some were sold at $20 each and the rest were sold at $45 each. The total receipts from these s
arlik [135]

Answer:

He sold 100 rackets for $ 20

Step-by-step explanation:

To start, we have to make 2 equations, one that represents the number of rackets and the other the money

x + y = 500

x * 20 + y * 45 = 20000

we clear x in the first equation

x + y = 500

x = 500 - y

we replace x in the second equation with (500 - y)

x * 20 + y * 45 = 20000

(500 - y) * 20 + y * 45 = 20000

10000 - 20y + 45y = 20000

-20y + 45y = 20000 - 10000

25y = 10000

y = 10000/25

y = 400

we replace x in the first equation with the value obtained

x = 500 - y

x = 500 - 400

x = 100

He sold 100 rackets for $ 20

X + 5y = 28 2x + 3y = 21 Solve for x and y.
snow_tiger [21]
First what we gonna do is solve for y.
x+5y=28 Subtract 5y both sides.
  -5y  -5y
x=-5y+28 Then you have to replace x with the equation.
2(-5y+28)+3y=21 Multiply.
-10y+56+3y=21 Combine like terms and subtract 56 both sides.
       -56        -56
-7y=-35 Divide -7 both sides.
y=5 Simplify.
x=-5(5)+28 Multiply and add.
x=-25+28
x=3
Heres your answer x=3 and y=5.

Officer Brimberry wrote 16 tickets for traffic violations last week, but only 2 tickets this week. What is the percent decrease?
Verdich [7]

Answer:

87.5%

Step-by-step explanation:
