The gentle breeze lightly brushes my face
and the trees dance to the melody
of the songbirds and the serenity
long cattails tickle my feet
and i listen to the sound of rushing currents of a vigorous river
as mother nature hums to the music of harmony

In the sunny breeze

I fall like a leaf into a horrid storm

I lie at the bottom of the sea, and that's when I see

a whole world, then the sea green weed covers me

just as I see, the oddest thing

but it wasn't what, it was who

a turtle, small

weak

De-and Con- have nearly opposite meanings. Think about the meaning of destroying, and then write a word that means the opposite
Svetlanka [38]

Answer

The word is "constructing".

Explanation:

A prefix can be defined as a letter or group of letters added to the beginning of a word with the intention of forming a different word. <u>The prefix de- is added to a word to convey removal, separation, negation, reversal, etc. On the other hand, the prefix con- conveys association and togetherness.</u> As was stated in the question, they are nearly opposite meanings. Therefore, if we think of the word <u>"destroying" and its meaning - demolishing, knocking down, putting an end to the existence of something -, the word that uses the prefix con- and that means the opposite is "constructing". To construct means to put up, to build, to set up, or to establish something.</u>

Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

I could visualize the scene where Clay uses his ax help him climb. The text describes Clay's actions in detail. London includes important details such as how Clay brushes the snow away and chops a shallow place for his foot. He describes how Clay take a step, reaches forward, and repeats this to climb. Descriptions like "a tiny speck of toiling life poised like a fly on the face of Moosehide Mountain" allowed me to visualize how slow and tedious this process would be on a large mountain.

kiruha [24]
The story is about Mallam Sile, a blind tea seller who went abroad in search of money to help his parents, but while he was doing that, his parents died. He didn't go to the funeral, but continued saving money. Everybody took advantage of him at his work, because he was blind, but he kept treating everyone with respect nevertheless. He is a romantic, sings songs about finding true love. He manages to save enough money to come back home and open a tea shop. He married, and his wife took great care of him, even beating a guy who didn't want to pay him his debt. After that incident, people started respecting him, and he thanked Allah for the good life he had, as well as a great wife.
