Answer:
when it was part of the Texas black history and they still had them divided the white people and the black people and the white people had stuff that the black people didn't and they had better rights than the other. they had to be separated for everything because they didn't have the same color skin and that they didn't like that kind of person that they were. The people was also cruel at that time because some of them were slaves from the white people and then having to separate them that is too much for them because they had to work a lot and sometimes they didn't pay them but peoples life changed a lot when everything was over thanks to Abraham Lincoln.some difference of this picture is that the white people had always the better things and that the black people didn't and the black people and the white people could not do something that a white person could do.
Explanation:
By 'author of the essay reading Shakespeare' do you mean us readers?
As, I'm currently doing right try and read classical novels like 'How to kill a mockingbird'. There's no need to rush if it's the first time reading, the more you read (or few of classicals) you will kind off get what the author is making the character speaking. Also understanding the aspect of the story. :)
False, because it's only going to confuse them more, and really make them not want to listen.
The speaker in "Making a Fist" is the 7 year old girl who was traveling with her mother, now all grown up.
The poem begins with the speaker remembering when she had been traveling for days with her mother. She was unsure if she would survive the journey and asked her mother "How do you know if you are going to die?". Her mother replied simply, "When you can no longer make a fist." The poem then continues with the speaker mentioning all of the obstacles she has overcome. She keeps opening and closing her hand because she is still alive; she can still make a fist. She has overcome.
