Answer: A strong central government was created.

              The army was strengthened. Trade was expanded. Relations between Muslims and Hindus improved. Government positions became paid positions.

Explanation: Humayun's son Akbar succeeded his father and ruled from 1556 to 1605. Akbar's rule is considered to be the height of the Mughal Empire. Akbar consolidated the territories won by his grandfather and created a strong central government. Sleeping only about three hours a night, Akbar devoted his time to improving the empire. Under Akbar's leadership, hereditary governmental positions were replaced with paid positions, the Mughal army was improved, and trade was expanded.

Perhaps Akbar's greatest accomplishment was to improve relations between Muslims and Hindus in the empire. Akbar followed a policy of religious tolerance during his reign. Unlike other rulers, Akbar allowed Hindus to have a place in the government. He also eliminated the jizya, a tax that had been levied on non-Muslims.

Akbar's son Jahangir reigned from 1605 to 1627. Jahangir set the stage for a period of great artistry and architectural achievements. Jahangir's son Shah Jahan reigned from 1628 to 1658. Shah Jahan is most remembered for being the driving force behind the building of the Taj Mahal. The structure was built as a memorial for his wife, who died giving birth to their fourteenth child.

Describe how people from the South, Northeast, and West felt about going to war with Britain.
mr Goodwill [35]
Answer;
They felt that they were fairly apprehended due to limited amount of supplies and army. Additionally the people in Northeast had business ties with Britain, therefore it was hard for them to go to war with their business partners. Again the people from the west and south felt and considered it a problem of the north.
The northern states were heavily involved in international trade, having the ports and ship building yards. The men who sailed on those ships were likewise mostly from the north and were the ones being impressed into the British navy. The agrarian south's interests lay entirely in the production of tobacco, cotton, sugar, sorghum and a few other large cash crops. The commerce was mostly within America and they had little interest in shipping issues.
