Answer: They were agricultural colonies.

Explanation: Slave labor was so important for the economy of the southern colonies because this economy was based on agriculture and that in this region there were large and numerous agricultural plantations thanks to its geographical and climatic conditions, so slave labor was required galore. There were large plantations of cotton, rice, sugar cane and tobacco among other products. The more they had slaves, the greater their agricultural production.

Ad libitum [116K]

Answer:

conquered areas were directly annexed to Germany.

Explanation:

Hitler's New Order was proclaimed in 1941 by Adolf Hitler. The major component of the New Order is the supremacy of Aryan-Nordic races, territorial expansion into central and Eastern Europe, and annihilation of the racially inferior groups or races.

Hence, in this case, the correct answer is "conquered areas were directly annexed to Germany."

This is evident in the fact that Nazi Germany annexed various conquered territories during World War II.

This includes the likes of the Federal State of Austria, Sudetenland, Bohemia, Czechoslovak Republic, etc.
