The dialogue that Johnsy says is:

"Leaves. On the ivy vine. When the last one falls I must go, too. I've known that for three days. Didn't the doctor tell you?"

Explanation:

The story "The Last Leaf" is about true friendship and how it survives the toughest test phases of life.

The story is about Sue and Johnsy's friendship and also about Mr. Behrman, a neighbor, all in the same profession. I .e..they are artists.

When Johnsy falls ill, she finds herself to be helpless and starts to believe in the illusion that she is going to die soon.

Being an artist she views the leaves of the vine plant as the pearls of her life and starts to count them as they fall. She views her survival depends on the leaves that survive on the plant. This suggests that Johnsy is a true artist at heart and sees life and death as delicate as the leaves that are on the plant.

The artist in her makes her cling onto the minutest detail that comes in her view suggesting that she sees an observant person, but at the same time hot too optimistic a person.
