first you would put the expression in a fraction for

180/460

you already know that the both numbers are divisible by 2

  • so the answer would be 90/230 but we are still no done because these values are divisible by three

the rule to prove that the number is divisible by three is when you add the digits of the number for example 333. 3+3+3=9 and nine is divisible by nine

THE ANSWER IS:::::::: 90/230

If letters of the word COMPUTER are randomly arranged in a row, what is the probability that the letters CO remain next to each
Mariana [72]

The probability that the letters CO remain next to each other (in order) as a unit is \frac{1}{8} .

<h3>What is probability?</h3>

The area of mathematics known as probability deals with numerical representations of the likelihood that an event will occur or that a statement is true. An event's probability is a number between 0 and 1, where, roughly speaking, 0 denotes the event's impossibility and 1 denotes certainty. It is more likely that an event will occur if its probability is higher.

When the letters are arranged randomly in a row, the total number of arrangements is 40,320 , and the number of arrangements with the letters CO next to each other (in order) as a unit is 5,040.

Therefore, possible outcomes = 5040 and

Total outcomes = 40320

Probability = \frac{Possible outcomes}{Total outcomes}

p = \frac{5040}{40320} = \frac{1}{8}

Therefore, the probability that the letters CO remain next to each other (in order) as a unit is \frac{1}{8} .
