Ok, I don't really have proof but I do have logic and good reasoning so listen up:

Julius Caesar was assassinated by respected members of his court, he was not a popular or respected leader. He ruled by fear by using the giant Roman armies.

So that eliminates choice "A", next we move down to "C"

We are not given any indication of Caesar's personal life during this event. All we know is that he was known the same in and out of the public's eyes.

Thus we are left with "B". Caesar probably thought "I am a "god". No one would dare try to kill me", as he walked towards the very men that would soon stab him to death.
