No no, you guys didn't explain who he is. Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president. He reunited north and south California- they were divided due to slavery and racial issues. He was the first (or one of the first) assassinated presidents. He wasn't on board with equal rights for colored people and whites people yet he still fought for it because he knew that it would make a difference. There are so many things that he did while he was president. If you're curious about him and John F Kennedy's strange coincidences, I suggest you search "Abraham Lincoln and JFK creepy coincidences"- there's some real interesting stuff if you find it.
