Discuss the impact Bacon's Rebellion had on indentured servitude and African slavery.
Dmitrij [34]

Answer:

The impact of Bacon's rebellion was the Unification of white and black servitudes and slaves.

Explanation:

Bacon was the leader of a rebellious group of Virginia settlers against the governor William Barkley and the Tidewater aristocrats in 1676.

The rebellious settlers were slaves, servants and black settlers. Indentured servitude has to do with servants who served of their own free will in exchange for freedom. This set United with black slaves in the rebellion. Jamestown was destroyed in the rebellion.

After the rebellion lawmakers in Virginia started differentiating between the blacks and the whites so that they do not unify ever again in rebellion. The Blacks were permanently enslaved while poor white indentured servants received new statuses and rights.

What were the reasons for the extensive loss of life and property and the damage in World War 1?
VikaD [51]

Answer:

hi!

Explanation:

All the illnesses during World War 1, like infections, and sickness from unsanitary requirement, and food.

The human cost of the First World War was horrendous. More than 16 million people, both military and civilian, died in the war. An entire generation of young men was wiped away. In 1919, the year after the war was over in France, there were 15 women for every man between the ages of 18 and 30. It is tragic to consider all of the lost potential, all of the writers, artists, teachers, inventors and leaders that were killed in ‘the war to end all wars.’ But although the impact of the First World War was hugely destructive it also produced many new developments in medicine, warfare, politics and social attitudes.

At the Convention of 1836, an ad-interim government was created for Texas. The ad-interim government was
lys-0071 [83]

Answer:

The Convention of 1836 was the meeting of elected delegates in Washington-on-the-Brazos, Texas in March 1836. The Texas Revolution had begun five months previously, and the interim government, known as the Consultation, had wavered over whether to declare independence from Mexico or pledge to uphold the repudiated Mexican Constitution of 1824. Unlike those of previous Texas councils, delegates to the Convention of 1836 were younger, more recent arrivals to Texas, and more adamant on the question of independence. As delegates prepared to convene, Mexican President Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna led a large army into Texas to quell the revolt; the vanguard of this army arrived at San Antonio de Bexar on February 23.

The Convention was called to order on March 1, and the following day adopted the Texas Declaration of Independence, written by George Childress. Delegates elected an interim government, led by President David G. Burnet and developed a Texas Constitution, which they based primarily on the Constitution of the United States. On March 6 they received a missive from the Texan soldiers besieged at the Alamo, and delegate and commander-in-chief Sam Houston narrowly persuaded the men to continue their work on the constitution rather than rush to aid the 69 soldiers. After the Alamo fell, Santa Anna's army marched towards Washington-on-the-Brazos, prompting the new government to flee.
