The answer is 10 grams.
The atomic weights for each elements are :
<span>Na - 22.99 g/mol </span>
<span>O -  16.00 g/mol </span>
<span>H -    1.01 g/mol
The sum = 40 g/mol for NAOH
</span><span>0.250 moles * 40.00 g / 1 mole = 10 g NaOH</span>

<u>Answer:</u> The mass of sodium hydroxide is 10 grams.

<u>Explanation:</u>

To calculate the mass of a substance, we use the equation to calculate the number of moles, we get:

\text{Number of moles}=\frac{\text{Given mass}}{\text{Molar mass}}

We are given:

Moles of sodium hydroxide = 0.25 mol

Molar mass of sodium hydroxide = 40 g/mol

Putting values in above equation, we get:

0.25=\frac{\text{Mass of sodium hydroxide}}{40g/mol}\\\\\text{Mass of sodium hydroxide}=10g

Hence, the mass of sodium hydroxide is 10 grams.

Two well-known complex ions containing ni are [ni(h2o)6]2+, which is green, and [ni(en)3]2+, which is purple. which one of these
Julli [10]
For [Ni(en)³]²⁺ which is purple, the crystal field splitting energy is greater than the complex ion, [Ni(H₂O)₆]²⁺ which is green in color.
When a Lewis base id attached to the metal ion by covalent bond, then the complex ion is formed and when these complex ions are present with other ions of opposite charge or neutral charge, they will make complex compounds.

Which ion has the same electron configuration as an atom of He?
mariarad [96]

Answer;

H- (negatively charged hydrogen ion)

Explanation;

The hydrogen ion has the same electron configuration as an atom of Helium. -Hydrogen ion is formed when a hydrogen atom loses or gains an electron. A positively charged ion is formed when hydrogen atom loses an electron (remaining with zero electrons) while a negatively charged ion (H-) is formed when a hydrogen atom gains an electron thus having 2 electrons.

-Helium atom has two electrons, therefore, it is similar with an negatively charged hydrogen.

Make a He atom with a mass of 4. How many protons did you put in the nucleus?
FrozenT [24]

Answer:

He has two protons

Li electron has one electron in its outermost orbital.

Number of neutrons of nitrogen = seven neutrons

The second shell of boron: 3 electrons.

Explanation:

An atom is composed of electrons, protons and neutrons. The number of neutrons is determined by subtraction of the atomic number from the mass number.

The electronic configuration is already known for each of atoms in these questions according to standard tables.

If I were you, I'd try to go with this one :[(6)(-241.8)+(5)(-393.5)]-[-35.1] =-481.6. I think that is a solution you have to find. Just use the sum of standard enthalpies of products and  <span>of reactants. Hope you will find it helpful!</span>
