Answer:

As a literary genre, <em>Naturalism</em> <em>(started in late 19th century)</em> highlights the idea of the environment <em>(nature)</em> defining the human character, in this genre the environment is generally used to intensify nature's capriciousness.

The irony in this excerpt is clear and it magnifies how ruthless and impassive nature is, so "<em>the cook"</em> in order to convey the contempt goes sarcastic and praises the weather displaying the crew's helplessness; that's why <em>option (3)</em> <em>"They show the ironic bitterness..."</em>

is the one that fits the most.

I am Lyosha [343]

Answer:

She lives around the Equator

Explanation:

The places at or around the Equator of the Earth do not experience cold weather, instead, they have warm weather like summer all year round. This is due to the Earth's axial tilt causing the equator to be closer to the Sun than places above or below the Equator.

Can Somebody please type me out an Intro For My Essay About How Phones Can Impact The World Thanks Ill Give Brainliest
choli [55]

Answer:

This is just a little thing I came up with right now :)

Explanation:

Whether in the mall, driving down the road, or just standing on the front lawn, there is a great possibility that a cell phone will be seen. Most people have them either in the pocket, on the hip, or attached to the ear. When cell phones were not as prevalent, society was very different. Cell phones are cheaper than ever, smaller than when they first surfaced, and have become very advanced technologically. Cell phones have a great effect on American society today.

Hope this helps a little :)

Three-Point Turn

I think it's the first one. Throughout the story we see Becky struggling with the idea that she might fail this time. Really she is making the possible outcome seem worse than it actually is (the outcome being that she could fail the test again), and Justin helps her calm down and realize that it really isn't that big of a deal if she doesn't pass.
