Answer: w = 61

Step-by-step explanation:

If the wall is 456 cm then the carpenter has already used up 334 cm of the wall on the other book cases. So 456-334 = 122 and since both of the bookcases are going to be the same width you divide 122 by 2 which gives you 61. Hope this helps :).

Answer:

x^{2} +x-4

Step-by-step explanation:

To get the answer just subtract f(x) by g(x)

The work is shown below:

(f-g)(x)= f(x)-g(x)\\\\(f-g)(x)= (x^{2} +1)-(5-x)\\\\(f-g)(x)= x^{2} +1-5+x\\\\(f-g)(x)= x^{2} -4+x\\\\(f-g)(x)= x^{2} +x-4\\\\
