Sexual organisms live dependently on other organisms for reproduction.

  • In asexual reproduction, one organism can produce organisms by multiplying its cells. For the reproductions. its cells undergo mitosis and the daughter diploid cells will changed into whole organism.
  • So one organism make hundreds of millions of offspring making a colony from one cell.
  • They don't need any other partner for reproduction.
  • While in sexual reproduction the gametes from two organisms, male and female are combined to form an offspring.
  • So these organism depends on other opposite sex partner for reproduction. But they are not present in colonies.
