Seriously thinking about the book or article you are reading is not necessary true or false

Hey there!

It's false.

The reason people may say it's not necessary to think about is that the book might be a fiction book, and since fiction books aren't real, then people might think you can't take any value out of that. However, this statement is false. Reading for pleasure or informing still gives you knowledge. You still get things from the plot and they could always help you. Especially if it's from nonfiction, thinking about the text and making applications is <em>always </em>necessary in order to maintain good reading habits.

Hope this helps!

Knowing that Brutus does see Caesar’s ghost again at Phillippi as suggested in the passage, what central idea does this passage
ruslelena [56]

After reading about how Brutus sees Caesar's ghost again after the ghost first told him they would meet in Phillippi, we can say the central idea developed is:

A. The impact of fate.

<h3>Fate in "Julius Caesar"</h3>

When Brutus first sees Caesar's ghost, the spirit tells him they shall see each other again in Phillippi. It is interesting to note that Brutus reaction is to simply accept the information given by the ghost: "Why, I will see thee at Philippi then."

That shows that Brutus is a man who believes in and is impacted by fate. Fate is used to describe situations and events that are beyond your control. Brutus does not even think of changing the situation so that the ghost's words will be void. He simply accepts them as his fate.
