Hi there!

First of all we're going to look at all the numbers in their places in 845,001.

1 is in the ones place
The zero beside the 1 is in the tens place
The next zero is in the hundreds place
5 is in the thousands place
4 is in the ten-thousands place
And 8 is in the hundred-thousands place.

Now, let's look at 8 for now. We see it's in the hundred-thousands place.
In order to round this particular number we look at the number beside it (to the right)

What would make this really easy is if you remember the term,

5 or more, raise the score
4 or less, let it rest

So if the number beside the 8 is 4 or less, round down, but if it were bigger, you'd round the number up.
Look! In our case there is a 4 next to the 8 which means to round down...
So 845,001 rounded to the nearest hundred thousand is 800,000.

Hope this helps! <3

Colt1911 [192]

Answer:

7 Days

Step-by-step explanation:

Miles cost:

$0.10 * 200 = $20

Daily Cost

Her budget at this point is $330 because $350 - $20 (the miles)

$330 / 42.72  = Roughly 7.72

Therefore Zoey can drive for 7 days before her budget runs out.

Answer:

1) Jina is not a member of the Music Club.

2) Three students are a member of the Music Club but not the Math Club.

3 Mary and Dan are in all three clubs.

Step-by-step explanation:

Look at the diagram and notice how each club has its own circle. If a student is in that circle, then they are a member of that club. When circles overlap, that overlap space means that a student is a member of two or all three clubs, depending on how many and which circles overlap.

1) Looking at Jina's location on the diagram, she is in the overlap between the math and chess club circles. However, her position does NOT overlap with the Music Club circle, therefore she is not a member of the Music Club.

2) Let's look at the students of the Music Club circle and its overlaps with the Chess Club circle, but NOT the overlaps with the Math Club circle. We can see that Lucy, Josh, and Juan are in these locations, therefore there are three students who are members of the Music Club but not the Math Club.

3) To find which students are in all three clubs, you would look at the middle of the diagram where all three circles overlap. The students listed in this location are Mary and Dan, therefore they are in all three clubs.

Please need help on this one not even sure on this
zlopas [31]

Answer:

I‘m pretty sure its a special right triangle, basically a 30, 60, 90 triangle. I checked with the formula and it’s correct. So the angle W is wither a 60 Degree or 30 degree and I‘m on the side of 30 degrees.

So I’m pretty sure its 30 degree.

The formuda is the hypotenuse is 2x and the (a) (3 in this case) is x. The 5 would come out as the formula 3\sqrt{3}. Now we know the sides, 3, 5 and 6 so we just plug it in and solve for the square root and it equals to ABOUT 5.

I’m not sure if I’m correct but I’m not confident.

Answer:

  y = (√3)/2

Step-by-step explanation:

The unit circle has equation ...

  x^2 +y^2 = 1

For x = 1/2, the value of y can be found to be ...

  (1/2)^2 +y^2 = 1

  y^2 = 1 - 1/4 = 3/4 . . . . . subtract 1/4

  y = √(3/4) . . . . . . . . . . take the square root (y > 0 here)

  y = (√3)/2
