The answer is B. Due to the number in the parenthesis being greater than one. When the number is less than one it will decay. But if it is equal to or greater than 1 then it is growth. But it can also depend. Furthermore, the theory occurs most of the time.

jessie hiked 5(1/2) miles on sunday and 6(3/4) miles on sunday .how many miles did jessie hike altogether ?
Paha777 [63]

Answer:

12(1/4)

Step-by-step explanation:

5(1/2)+6(3/4)

Change to common denominator,

5(2/4)+6(3/4)

5+6=11 and (2/4) + (3/4) = 1 (1/4)

11 + 1 (1/4)= 12 (1/4)

VladimirAG [237]

Answer:

105

Step-by-step explanation:

g(x)=x^{3}-9x

rate of change of g(x) is

g^{,}(x)=3x^{2} -9

for x=1

g^{'}(1)=3(1)^{2} -9=-6

for x=6

g^{'}(6)=3(6)^{2} -9=99
